Terms of Service

1. Subject matter

These Terms govern access to and use of BeautyIQ, a digital reference tool in Progressive Web App (PWA) format dedicated to professionals and operators in the beauty sector.

BeautyIQ is a free service. Acceptance of these Terms is a necessary condition for use of the service.

3. Service recipients

BeautyIQ is designed for beauty advisors, store staff, trainers, academies, makeup artists, nail techs and other professional operators in the sector.

Access may be requested by both professionals and, where permitted, by consumer users interested in the service.

4. Access and free service

BeautyIQ is provided free of charge. Access to and use of the app do not involve any payment, subscription or fee.

• there are no prices, subscriptions or paid renewals
• access to the service does not require entering any payment data

5. Access methods and delivery

After accessing the service:

• the user accesses BeautyIQ via a direct web link
• the app can be installed as a PWA on the device
• no download from app stores is required
• any activation communications may be sent to the email address provided

6. Offline functionality

BeautyIQ is designed to work offline after the initial loading of the necessary content.

• a significant portion of content is stored on the device
• features or services that depend on external components may require connectivity
• updates and new versions normally require an internet connection

7. Permitted use and restrictions

The user is granted a personal or professional right to use the service according to the plan or access method activated.

The following is prohibited:

• copying, reselling, redistributing or unauthorised sharing of access to the service
• modifying, decompiling or attempting reverse engineering on the code and protected components
• using BeautyIQ in violation of applicable laws or for unlawful purposes

8. Service updates

The Controller may update content, features, layout, modules or access conditions of BeautyIQ at any time, including for technical, editorial or commercial reasons.

Such updates do not entitle the user to compensation except as expressly provided by law or specific commercial conditions.

9. Free service and refunds

BeautyIQ is a free service: no payments are made and, consequently, no refunds apply. Further details are available in the Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

The user may stop using the service at any time. For any request, the user may write to info@beautyiq.cloud.

10. Support

Support is available via email at info@beautyiq.cloud.

Support does not include personalised beauty advice, dermatological consultation or individual professional training unless otherwise expressly agreed.

11. Limitation of liability

BeautyIQ is provided "as is" and constitutes an informational and operational support tool.

• content does not replace medical, dermatological advice or specific professional obligations
• operational, advisory or commercial decisions remain the responsibility of the user
• the Controller is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of local data stored on the user's device

12. Intellectual property

All content, the trademark, structure, design and code of BeautyIQ remain the exclusive property of the Controller or their respective rights holders.

No provision of these Terms transfers intellectual property rights to the user.

13. Changes to the Terms

The Controller reserves the right to modify these Terms. Changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

14. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

For any disputes, the jurisdiction provided by applicable law shall apply, including the non-derogable consumer jurisdiction where applicable.
